Your donation to NIE provides literacy resource materials and FREE access to the
newspaper. NIE provides numerous newspaper programs throughout the school year in
such subjects as math, social studies, and current events to science, character education and, of course, reading.

Studies show that classrooms that use the newspaper as a regular part of their daily instruction improve standardized test scores 10 to 30 percent. Your donation
will help raise student test scores while building literate, responsible and
informed citizens.
