How does it work?
Honor dad in a creative way! Tell us why your dad is the BEST dad around by submitting an original haiku.
Tip! For this contest, a haiku will consist of three lines; 17 syllables in a 5-7-5 verse.
For example:
He watched every game
And he never once complained
Even when I lost
The top prize goes to the haiku with the most votes! Voting starts at noon on June 12, so be sure to get others in the family to log on to the contest page and vote for your poem by using Facebook, Myspace, Twitter and e-mail to spread the word!
What are the prizes?
The poem with the most votes will win:
- Four tickets to a Cardinals game
- Four passes to Six Flags
- A Father's Day prize pack from the Post-Dispatch Store.
